Razzle Basil (Part 2)

Razzle Basil (Part 2)

Up until my final year at University, I had never been in a fight in my entire life.Screenshot-12975It’s amazing how quickly that can change, particularly when a guy tries to hit on your girlfriend. Old Scott wasn’t expecting me to confront him inside the Student Union.  I suppose that’s why he almost wet himself.Screenshot-12977‘You didn’t have to do it,’ Tia sighed as she messily chewed on her spag bol. ‘I handled myself pretty well when he tried to chat me up.’Screenshot-13097I almost choked on my own plate of food (thankfully I had just swallowed the final mouthful).

‘Tia, the creep tried to grope you!’Screenshot-13093‘You’re not worth the effort,’ Scott had said, when I had requested he fight me then and there. ‘Tia deserves a better man, you know?’Screenshot-12988As he turned his back on me, I saw red.  The next I knew, I was grappling with him, trying my hardest to place my hands around his stupid neck.  He fought back, hard.Screenshot-12979He made a valiant effort to defend himself, until my knee drove heavily into his lower back.  There was a sharp cracking sound, followed by a howl of pain.Screenshot-12984Whatever I had caused him, I hoped it had inflicted some lasting damage.Screenshot-12983‘I don’t like it when you’re aggressive, even if its just to protect me,’ Tia revealed.  I arched my eyebrows in confusion.

‘Then how do you suggest I fight off the men who try and touch you up?’ I asked.Screenshot-13096‘You don’t need to.  I had already dealt with him with a swift kick to the meat and two veg.’Screenshot-13098Naturally, we threw a rocking masquerade party to celebrate that revelation.Screenshot-13039In all honesty, despite I was obviously amazed that Tia was a kickass young lady, I was secretly impressed that I had got away with almost breaking someone’s back.  I would have assumed that kind of behaviour could have got me kicked out of University, or worse, thrown in jail.  It made me think that I could perhaps get away with a bit more than that in the future.Screenshot-13032Our final results came around quicker than I anticipated.Screenshot-13107I ended up scraping my way through with a 2:1.Screenshot-13110Tia was surprised she had achieved a 2:2, despite she had flunked her final few assignments (it turned out that a Technology degree is hard as balls).Screenshot-13112She was so eager to receive her diploma that she forgot to wear her cap and gown on the big day. Screenshot-13123I was polite enough to lend her my gown when she inevitably became cold.Screenshot-13131‘Where do we go from here?’ Tia asked later that day, when we were sitting in the snow, freezing our arses off.Screenshot-13099‘Well…’ I slid closer to her side.  I tilted my head up to the sky, her eyes following suit.

‘The world is ours to do as we please.  Let’s make a difference.’Screenshot-13100And also see what other crimes we can get away with…  My thoughts whispered.

Aero Dynamic (Part 2)

Aero Dynamic (Part 2)

Knuckling down proved to be quite a challenge.  Some subject matters were more difficult to grasp than others.Screenshot-7558Musical theory was one of these topics.Screenshot-7561It was also slightly off putting having your girlfriend sat besides you snoring away.Screenshot-7563To keep my brain ticking over between classesI used the handyman skills I had picked up from my youngest brother, Hershey, to start up a little laptop repair company to make a bit of cash; you’d be surprised with how many students end up with broken laptops.Screenshot-7529Of course, I couldn’t rule out having a bit of genuine fun once in a while.  After passing my mid-term exams, I threw a masquerade party to celebrate.Screenshot-7592And partly as an excuse to show off my guitar skills.Screenshot-7580I also made sure to spend quality time with Adrianne since I’d been a bit of a rubbish boyfriend in the past.   Beer pong was one of our favourite activities whenever we wanted to unwind.Screenshot-7686I enjoyed it, purely because I usually won nine times out of ten.Screenshot-7685This annoyed Adrianne greatly.Screenshot-7684Obviously there were less competitive activities Adrianne and I enjoyed participating in whenever we had a moment alone, particularly in the hot tub.Screenshot-7698Screenshot-7697Like most people, I also needed my alone time every now and again.  Again, the hot tub was a perfect place to get away from everyone and relax.Screenshot-7703A few months of studying, socializing and romancing later, the final results were in.  My hands were shaking as I unfolded the sheet of paper that would determine my fate.  I was convinced I had only scraped a 3rd class degree at best.Screenshot-7781However, when my eyes scanned across the words, my heart skipped a beat.  Somehow I had snagged myself an upper 2nd class degree (Aka. a 2:1).Screenshot-7782Naturally Adrianne had done well too, although, annoyingly, she was only a few marks of obtaining a 1st class degree.Screenshot-7795Our graduation ended up being held on one of the snowiest days of the year, and although I was too stoked to care about frost bite.Screenshot-7810I was so proud to receive my diploma, as was Adrianne.Screenshot-7817Screenshot-7816We celebrated in style, savoring the limited time we had left at University before we had to head home and find proper jobs.Screenshot-7676To be honest though, I didn’t mind the prospect of growing up and getting old.  With Adrianne and my crazy family around, I knew I could still have fun along the way.

Chapter 5.4

Chapter 5.4 – And then his face caught on fire

Amaretto’s plan was to simply invite Mika Moore over, with the promise of fun sunny weather and plenty of entertainment.  She hoped that her presence would influence Jameson to out less time and dedication into his career, in favour of making lots of woohoo with his lovely lady.Screenshot-3348She prayed that the future would pan out the way it had when she had visited it.  Jameson’s overexertion was becoming more of an issue, particularly during his most recent show when he somehow managed to catch his face on fire.Screenshot-3416Screenshot-3417Luckily most of the crowd were Michael Jackson fans, so assumed that it was some kind of tribute to the King of Pop.  Screenshot-3418Judd was the first to greet Mika when she arrived, since he was already outside to collect the mail, and to build a snowman.  Seeing her shivering (she had not quite braced herself for the arctic weather due to Amaretto’s lie about the island being sunny all year round), he decided it was best to invite her in. Screenshot-3363Hearing a bit of fuss going on by the front door, Jameson ventured out the kitchen, only to be literally pounced on and devoured by Mika, who quite honestly had not seen him in many months.Screenshot-3381His expression was one of shock, particularly after the kiss had ended.Screenshot-3382Mika giggled, before she explained to Jameson that she had decided to pay him a surprise visit on the whim.Screenshot-3371‘I may need some warming up,’ Mika heavily hinted, ‘I wasn’t expecting it to be this cold here!’Screenshot-3373It only took Jameson a record-breaking two minutes to clock on to what Mika was actually implying.   After that, all he had to do was give her one smoldering look before she was more than ready to follow him upstairs to bed. Screenshot-3368Later that evening, Amaretto decided it was time to pop the question to Cade, who had been living with the Baileys pretty much since Malibu and Aaron had moved out. Screenshot-3428Cade was a little bit peeved because she had hoped to be the one to do the whole proposal malarkey, but she soon did not mind when she saw just how shiny and expensive the engagement ring that Amaretto had got her was.Screenshot-3429Clearly Cade was not shallow in the slightest. Screenshot-3433They had a very grand winter lesbian wedding, complete with snow and pretty clothes (as the following pictures dictate).Screenshot-3451Screenshot-3457Screenshot-3461And then, a couple of months later, they moved out and started to research into ways of having children who would inherit both their genetics, using in-game cheats crazy scientific methods (note: they went on to have five children between them).Screenshot-3493This chapter shall end on a picture of Murphy and Margaret’s firstborn child, Francisco.  Naturally, he’s quite cute, although his choice of attire is questionable…Screenshot-3427

Chapter 3.9

Chapter 3.9 – Snow more puns

For what felt like the first time ever, winter arrived in Sunlit Tides.  Screenshot-840Everyone was snowed in, since the island had never really anticipated snow, let alone snow this heavy.  Indoors, Cookie, who was quite honestly over staying his welcome, was keeping his girlfriend, Thelma, occupied by pretending to be a model.Screenshot-811Before long, he got bored and decided to keep her entertained in another way, with the sly use of mistletoe, obviously.Screenshot-812Screenshot-814‘You, clothes off and upstairs, now.’Screenshot-813Meanwhile, outside in the garden, some shiny multi-coloured lights appeared in the sky.Screenshot-817Hayley was convinced she was tripping, although she was certain she had not smoked or taken anything drug-wise.  Screenshot-818When a strange unidentified flying object suddenly appeared above her, she wished she had smoked or taken something.  Screenshot-819Hayley felt her heart pound as a strange beam shot out from the underside of the strange flying thing, which she could only really describe as a spaceship, although she had never really seen one of those in real life.Screenshot-822It enveloped her, much like a warm hug; only with an ice bear who has acid soaked hairs.Screenshot-821As the beam pulled her upwards, she tried to scream, but no sound escaped.  She thought it was the power of the beam preventing her from doing so, but it turned out that someone had only muted the volume.  Screenshot-823Seconds later, the spaceship vanished into thin air, and just like that, Hayley was gone.  Like, totally.Screenshot-826It took the Bailey family a few weeks to realise that Hayley was missing.  Coco was so devastated by her twin sister’s disappearance that she started a fire, as one would naturally do.Screenshot-815Unfortunately, Irish was not happy about losing yet another BBQ.  Coco, however, denied the whole thing and casually pretended that some sort of fire monster must have been responsible for such a heinous crime.Screenshot-816She even got Admiral the gnome, and a snowman, to vouch for her.  Screenshot-836Anyways, a few more weeks later, a spaceship pulled up outside the Bailey household, although none of the family members seemed to notice.Screenshot-828Out popped Hayley, who was feeling sore in a way she had only experienced once before.  Standing behind her was some strange creature, who looked reluctant to let her go.  Screenshot-830Hayley had been blindfolded throughout her ordeal, so she was both pleased and angered to finally get to see her kidnapper.  On closer inspection, Hayley was sure she recognised him from somewhere. He's back for Hayley‘I’ll never look at hot-dogs in the same way again!’Screenshot-833Once realising that Hayley had returned, the family threw a party to celebrate.  It was the twins’ birthday as well, so that was another excuse really.  Screenshot-841Hayley managed to bury her traumatic experience into a dark, dark corner of her mind and made the most out of the attention and cake available.Screenshot-847As for Coco, she declared that someone had better of gotten her a new pair of shoes, else there would be hell to pay.Screenshot-842A few months later, Hayley had a Britney Spears styled breakdown and shaved off all her hair.  When it grew back to a reasonable length, Hayley kept it that way because she thought it made her look more rock-chick-like.Screenshot-859Whereas, plain and simple Coco ended up donning a mumsy gym look, in preparation for kicking off the next generation.Screenshot-851
